Bright green dye?
Ok a few times now I have been seeing just a few people walking around with green armor but there is one big difference, THE DYE IS HELLA BRIGHT.
If anyone knows of the color dye mix, what is the mix needed for a hot bright green? I tried green + yellow but it gives me this dull green/olive color. I dont have alot of money so I dont wanna spend it on just GUESSING. |

Well which armor did you see it on? If it was on Ascalon armor (warrior) then use dye remever to get it to its default gold, then mix green and dye remover to get it. If it was on a mesmer then it's their default.

I'm not pro at dye mixing, but silver makes every color appear lighter. So maybe try a silver, green, silver, or something like that. You can search the forums for a dye chart as well, I'm pretty sure there's one somewhere.

gah x.x that didnt help out at all!
I mixed straight green with dye remover and got this color thats VERY close to the original 15k drakescale color, which looks like a orangish-yellow color, you could still tell the difference, but there wasnt too much. Anyone have any other suggestions for a nice bright green? x.x I tried just normal green also... i got green just very dark green >.< |

Have you checked any of the dye charts? There's one at http://armageddon.tpon.net/images/gu.../allcolors.htm
the G+G+Y or G+Y+Y look nice. Maybe even add a silver in there to lighten it up |

I have those charts saved on my comp, BUT THEY ARE NOT ACCURATE!
Some yes will be but the Green + Yellow DOES NOT look like the one on the chart, all of these colors become dark and terrible, where the heck can i just get a BRIGHT green? everytime I try a color combo it costs me money x.x AND MONEY IS NOT SOMETHING I HAVE ALOT OF X.x I have to CONSTANTLY farm the marhan's grotto chest (dont ask if you dont know) just to SLOWLY get cash from it. (Though it dropped a rare longbow once, that was cool) |

Well...silver+green comes out to this pale snowy green, which I thought was perfect for the frost armor on my Ranger. I'd like to have a super bright green on a different set though. I think the first combo I'll try is g+y+g. Merely because trying a similar combo to get the cranberry color out of the red seemed to work. It stands to reason that doing something similar with green would work the same. I could be completely wrong though. I have a few of each color except for black. It is enough to experiment just a little. I suppose I could let people know my findings.

Naqser, any color on 15K bonelace ends up day-glo bright . G + B would likely get you a nice bright green. But here are a few ideas for high-end necro armor: http://thenaughtynecro.blogspot.com/
Fox, I used G + Y for a bright new grass green on Knights/Platemail for my warrioress. Last edited by FalconDance; Mar 21, 2006 at 02:08 PM // 14:08.. |

May help to make a PVP charcter and play around with normal non mixed dye. Many charcters base color of armor can change dramatically than using mixed dye.

I'd say Blue + Yellow + Green looks rather bright. Not "hella" bright, but bright. So does Blue + Green + Green. Mix around and you might find something nice. |
